If you have 8 + years of experience as a telcom technician, you qualify for the Master Technician Certification. (formerly Class 1)
If you have 4 to 6 years engineering experience, OR hold an iNARTE-approved BSEE, BSEET or BS, you may qualify for the Junior Engineer Certification. (formerly Class 3)

* In 2003, iNARTE changed its telecommunications certification level names to enhance comprehension and recognition of iNARTE's certification levels by both industry and the public at large.
The Technician Class 3 and 4 merged to form the Junior technician level. Requirements for the Junior technician certification are now equivalent to the former Technician Class 3 requirements.
